How the Shuttle System Works

 

The operation begins when pallets enter the warehouse through the receiving conveyor. The Warehouse Management System automatically assigns the optimal storage location based on inventory strategy, product characteristics, and warehouse capacity.

Vertical lifts transport the shuttle vehicle and pallet to the designated storage level. The four-way shuttle then travels both longitudinally and laterally to place the pallet in its assigned position. During outbound operations, multiple shuttle vehicles work simultaneously under intelligent scheduling, retrieving pallets efficiently according to FIFO, LIFO, or customized warehouse rules.

This collaborative operation significantly improves warehouse throughput while reducing manual intervention and operational costs.
